Attestation of Documents
The Embassy of India in Ashgabat provides attestation services for various documents issued in India or Turkmenistan, as required for legal, commercial, or academic purposes.
Types of Documents Attested:
Educational certificates (degree, diploma, transcripts)
Birth, marriage, and death certificates
Power of Attorney
Commercial documents (invoices, agreements, MoUs)
Affidavits and declarations
General Guidelines:
Documents issued in India must be first attested by the concerned State Home Department or Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.
For documents issued in Turkmenistan, local notarization and translation to English (if applicable) are required before submission.
All documents must be submitted with copies and a valid passport copy of the applicant.
Fee applicable as per document type, payable in USD.
Timings: Submission: 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM (Mon–Fri) | Collection: 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM
